About
A personal project, built by one person, with a very specific idea behind it.
Who is behind it
CalculaVisitas is run by César Medina, from Santiago, in the province of Veraguas, Panama. There is no company, no team and no investors: it is an independent project, which is why you will not find paid reviews or sponsored tool recommendations here.
If you want to write, the address is on the contact page, and I read it myself.
Why this calculator exists
"How much do you earn on YouTube?" has a terrible answer on the internet. Wherever you look, the same loose figure shows up — "somewhere between $1 and $5 per thousand views" — without mentioning that a finance channel and a gaming channel can be five times apart, or that Shorts play an entirely different game.
That generic number helps nobody make a decision. A creator choosing a topic, or staring at a sponsor's offer, needs a figure that accounts for their situation: their niche, their platform and their real view count.
CalculaVisitas exists to give exactly that, in under a minute and without asking for anything in return.
Where the data comes from
The RPM values in the calculator are market ranges, built from figures creators and agencies published during 2025 and 2026, cross-checked between several sources to discard the outliers that skew an average.
Each niche has its own multiplier on the platform's base RPM, and those multipliers are published in an open table: you can see exactly which number applies to your topic instead of trusting a black box.
They are reviewed periodically, because the ad market moves: what was true two years ago no longer is.
What this tool is not
Worth saying plainly, because there is a lot of inflated promise around this subject:
- It is not a crystal ball. These are estimates. Your real income depends on your audience country, your video length, the time of year and the ad auction itself, which shifts daily.
- It does not count everything you earn. It only calculates platform advertising. Sponsorships, affiliate income and your own products usually add considerably more, and none of that is here.
- It is not financial advice. It is a reference point to orient yourself, not a basis for planning your finances.
If you already have a channel and know your real RPM, set it with the slider: from there the arithmetic is exact, and the projection stops being a market approximation and becomes yours.
How it pays for itself
Advertising, and nothing else. The tool is free, has no paid tier, asks for no sign-up and collects none of your data: every calculation happens inside your browser, and neither your views nor your RPM leave your device. It is all explained in the privacy policy.
